Jonathan & Tended
Jonathan has always had a hands-on relationship with homes.
Originally from England, he spent years buying, renovating, and restoring properties — not just to flip them, but to bring spaces back to life with soul and intention. He loved the process: the planning, the transformation, the subtle details that made a house feel like home.
When he moved to Portugal, he noticed how often expats struggled to find fair pricing or dependable help. He wasn’t looking for a big building firm - just someone grounded, capable, and trustworthy.
Eventually, he realised he could be that person for others.
What began as a personal need turned into a small, conscious service with a big heart.
He called it Tended because that’s how it feels when a home is cared for with presence, integrity, and attention. Like family. Like it matters.
Today, Jonathan runs every project himself, from the first message to the final sweep. While he collaborates with trusted local specialists when needed, Tended remains intentionally small, focused, hands-on, and built on strong relationships, with the flexibility to grow as the work evolves.
